On March 21, we join the global community in celebrating our beautiful planet and raising awareness about the importance of environmental protection. Earth Day was first proposed by US Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970, and since then, it has grown into a worldwide movement for positive change.
Rare Publications Donation from Prof. Gromada
We're excited to announce a generous donation from Professor Thaddeus Gromada. His gift includes rare publications like the Zakopane Style Notebook - Carpentry, Lviv 1911, and Folk Architecture in the Ropczyński District in Lesser Poland, Kraków 1935. These treasures offer profound insights into Polish culture and enrich our collection.

On March 19 we join with our Italian-American friends in celebrating St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers and father of Jesus. Saint Joseph's Day, also known as the Feast of Saint Joseph or the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, holds a special place in Western Christianity.

On March 14 we're celebrating the fascinating world of numbers and equations as we join the global festivities for the World Day of Mathematics! UNESCO's 40th General Conference declared March 14 as the International Day of Mathematics back in November 2019. That's why we affectionately call Pi Day!
