Yesterday, the Polish Museum of America had the pleasure of hosting special guests - Sue Gierzynski and Mark Messersmith.

Sue Gierzynski is a daughter of Mary Ann Kania Gierzynski, and granddaughter of Joseph Kania, the president of the Polish Roman Catholic Union in 1934-41. It was under the leadership of Joseph Kania that the PRCUA founded the Polish Museum of America which has become an invaluable treasury of artifacts and works of art from Poland as well as Polonia.
