On May 6, the Polish Museum of America officers, staff, volunteers, and friends marched in the Parade commemorating the anniversary of the ratification of the Polish Constitution of May 3, 1791.

Since 1892, Chicago Polonia’s various community organizations, schools, bands and folk dancing groups have joined together to celebrate the Polish culture and tradition. This year once again, Downtown Chicago saw a stream of red and white, as everyone came out to show off their polish pride wearing Polish emblems. For years, the main organizer of the Parade has been the Polish Club Association.
We congratulate President of the Polish Roman Catholic Union, Mr. Jim Robaczewski, for his role as the Vice Marshal of this year’s parade and whose organization is celebrating its 150th anniversary!

6 maja pracownicy i przyjaciele Muzeum Polskiego w Ameryce maszerowali w Paradzie upamiętniającej rocznicę ratyfikacji Konstytucji 3 maja 1791 r. Od 1892 r., różne organizacje społeczne, szkoły, i zespoły tańca ludowego Polonii chicagowskiej łączą się aby wspólnie celebrować polską kulturę i tradycję. W tym roku po raz kolejny centrum Chicago ujrzało strumień czerwieni i bieli gdy ludzie wyszli na ulicę, by pochwalić się polską dumą, nosząc polskie emblematy. Od lat, głównym organizatorem parady był Związek Klubów Polskich.
Serdeczne gratulacje dla Prezydenta Zjednoczenia Polsko-Rzymsko Katolickiego, Jima Robaczewskiego, który przewodził tegorocznej paradzie jako wicemarszałek, oraz którego organizacja obchodzi w tym roku 150-tą rocznicę!
