“Art for Heart 2019” – Call for Artists

CHICAGO—July 1, 2019—The Polish Museum of America and Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) announce the 9th Annual ART FOR HEART Call for Artists. Applications are being accepted through July 19th, 2019, and can be found on www.artforheartchicago.org.
The Polish Museum of America and Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) are very grateful for the past 8 years of strong support from artists and the community for Art for Heart; and are currently planning Art for Heart IX! The Opening Gala will be September 7th, 2019. As in years past, this event will be a great opportunity for artists in a variety of media to display and sell their works; as well as to meet the community; while supporting two very important causes.
Applications to participate in this year’s event are being accepted through July 19th, 2019. All the details, including the Application Form, can be found on the Art for Heart website: www.artforheartchicago.org.
Gift from the Heart Foundation, or Dar Serca, is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that helps children with disabilities receive the medical treatment that they urgently need. The Foundation brings seriously ill and disabled children from European countries to the US and helps them receive high-quality medical care and treatments that are unattainable in their home countries. Over the past 20 years, Gift from the Heart Foundation has helped several hundred children receive modern medical treatments from the highest-quality clinics in the United States.
The Polish Museum of America, a 501(c)3 cultural institution, is one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States; and offers visitors a range of exhibits, resources and activities related to Polish art, history and culture, as well as Polish-American history. Its all-inclusive exhibits and cultural events are both educational and entertaining while supporting the entire community. It’s Library and extensive Archives have rendered invaluable services to historians, researchers, students and genealogists.

„Art for Heart 2019” („Sztuka dla serca 2019”) – Zaproszenie dla artystów
Chicago, 1 lipca 2019
Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce (MPA) i Fundacja Dar Serca zapraszają artystów do zgłaszania udziału w siódmej dorocznej wystawie „Sztuka dla Serca” („Art For Heart”). Zgłoszenia przyjmowane są do 19 lipca 2019 r. Informacje i aplikacje znajdują się na stronie internetowej: www.artforheartchicago.org.
Po ośmiu latach wielkiego wsparcia ze strony artystów, jak i społeczności, za które MPA i Fundacja Dar Serca są ogromnie wdzięczne, obie organizacje przygotowują kolejną wystawę „Sztuka dla Serca IX” („Art for Heart IX”). Uroczyste otwarcie planowane jest na 7 września 2019 r. Jak co roku będzie to doskonała okazja dla artystów z różnych dziedzin sztuki do zaprezentowania i sprzedaży dzieł, zapoznania się ze społecznościa wspierając przy okazji dwa szczytne cele. Zgłoszenia do udziału w tegorocznej wystawie przyjmowane będą do 19 lipca 2019 r. Aplikacje i dodatkowe informacje są dostępne na stronie internetowej: www.artforheartchicago.org.
Fundacja Dar Serca jest organizacją charytatywną, umożliwiającą leczenie ciężko chorym i niepełnosprawnym dzieciom z Polski i innych krajów Europy, które nie mają szans na pomoc u siebie. W ciągu ponad dwudziestu lat działalności fundacja ta przyjęła i zaopiekowała się kilkuset dziećmi, które dzięki temu odbyły leczenie w nowoczesnych klinikach.
Muzeum Polskie w Ameryce jest jednym ze starszych i większych muzeów etnicznych w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Posiada bogatą kolekcję sztuki, pamiątek historycznych i dokumentów oraz przechowuje bezcenny księgozbiór. Bibliotekę i Archiwum odwiedza wielu historyków, naukowców, studentów i genealogów. MPA prowadzi aktywną działalność na rzecz ochrony i promocji dziedzictwa kulturowego.
