She was born Dec. 6, 1889, in Poland. On this day we remember Ludwika Nitschowa, Polish sculptor and pedagogue who died on March 28, 1989.

He was a Polish pharmacist, engineer, businessman and philanthropist. The year 2022 has been designated by the Parliament of the Republic of Poland as the year of Jan Ignacy Lukasiewicz.
