On July 15 we celebrate the 170th birthday anniversary of Jacek Malczewski, born in 1854, in Radom. Known as the father of symbolism in Polish painting, Malczewski's work is a blend of patriotism, mythology, and historical themes, deeply rooted in Polish culture.
